Mike
and Cole Forsten became customers of ADT about 2 years ago,
buying parts for both Mike, and Coles trucks. Last year
Mike approached me about turning Cole's 99 Dodge into a
mid 11 second truck, and the project began.... With safety
being the first priority, we installed a 6 point roll cage,
racing seats, harnesses, and drive shaft loops. We then
built the chassis by lowering the lifted truck to 3"
below stock ride height, intalling a 3 link system in the
rear, and installing AFCO racing shocks. We made some engine
tweaks, installed a full competition Suncoast transmisson,
and went racing. Initially the truck ran OK, but lacked
fuel on the top end. We knew that the fuel supply was not
an issue, since we had a FASS 150, on the truck with 1/2"
lines, so we sent the pump out to Industrial injection,
we they could do their magic. With the new pump, the truck
has turned a best of 11.98 @112 MPH. This is with no nitrous,
and a VP44 injection pump. This number will improve in the
coming weeks as we have more suprises to come. Stay tuned
